I don't recall seeing Kate in these later scenes (she's not even in the promo even though her husband, Toby, and the kids appear to be) so..... I wonder what happened.

i think she dies in the next episode and then the last episode the big 3 each die with their old kids with them. then the circle of life plays, fade to black.

Me too and when I tell you I didn’t even like any of them really. Especially by the end. But I still bawled like a baby. I needed a breather and I only did my first watch through a couple of months ago , never seen it before that at all- I had no one to talk about the show with 😭😭

Wait we've already seen Randall's kids' last scenes??? Is this why they weren't at Kate's wedding (which seems really weird and out of character to me)?

I assumed we hadn't seen them in recent episodes because they have done a time jump (notice how old Kate's kids and Kevin's kids are now) and the show didn't think they could make Annie look older but didn't want to recast. We already saw in one of the previous flash forwards (when we got our first glance of Silver Fox Kevin) that the older actresses playing Randall's girls will show up before Rebecca dies. I hope that they do a jump back to the present time so that we get to see the actresses who have been playing Tess, Annie, and Deja since the beginning one more time.
