A new report by Us Weekly alleges that the terms of Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's prenuptial agreement are taking "longer than usual" to finalize.
According to "an insider," the reason is that Asghari, 28, is seeking "substantial increases for every five years [the couple is] married, should it end."
Another source counters that while the process is being "dragged out," the discussions have been "'respectable' in making sure both Spears' fortune and Asghari himself are protected."
Spears, for her part, seems to have no interest in being involved in financial discussions. Despite having had virtually no control of her $60 million estate for the past 14 years, the 40-year-old icon is focusing her energy on planning the couple's big day.
Britney Spears’ fiance Sam Asghari wants “substantial increases” for every 5 years of marriage, according to
@USWeekly.
“Britney's staying out of the entire process. She's just letting her lawyers hash it out with Sam's team.”
