Also this is similar to Ariana getting with Pete after breaking up with Mac. It's another rebound PR-relationship for him but aimed at Kanye this time. Some people also speculated that Kim probably didn't like that Kourtney was getting all the attention with Travis for a bit.

Yeah it was pretty known that she got with Pete as a bit of fuck you to Mac and kinda of rubbed it in his face given how super publicized it was compared to her past and present relationships. Notice how she's married but you never see her husband out there all that much compared to her time with Pete.

It completely blew up in her face cause she couldn't have predicted Mac dying.

Pete even mentioned in an interview not too long after the breakup that he knew it was over the minute they found out Mac passed.

This is kind of gross. It's nothing but speculation,and I'm not even a fan of anyone involved. "Yeah it was pretty known.." falling for celebrity gossip does not equate the truth, especially when somebody died. Maybe exactly because of what happened in that situation, and the accusations and rumors that live on as "truth" now is the reason she is private with her relationships.

To blame her for Mac Miller's death is gross, and completely based on crass rumors. Nothing "backfired' on her, she was living her life...this insinuation that she somehow contributed to Mac's death is not it.
