Damn, glad he’s okay! But seeing this makes me think, at what point do these cons stop? You have to think at least one of them is over it at this point.

There's cons scheduled through 2023 but hoping their contracts are up soon so they don't have to do this so many times a year now, especially since they're all getting other work.

And starting soon, they've teased that cast members from J2's other projects will start appearing at these cons too (like Keegan Allen, who's already been to one and just did photo ops).

This is going to sound like shade but it's not meant to be lol. A lot of the actors will milk this thing absolutely dry because they're jobbing actors who aren't getting this kind of pay check elsewhere. It'll stop when fan demand drifts off, which I would think will happen when J2 get tired of it - but even then, I would think they'll scale back rather than completely stop it because it's relatively easy money for them.

Totally agree. I also feel this about the Buffy cast still doing cons lol (And this is coming from a Buffy fan) And I noticed that Sarah is always missing from those, but she already has a steady income from the franchise lol.

But I do think that SPN has a lot of cons, almost as many as The Walking Dead.

Yep, I think Sarah partly doesn’t need the money and partly it’s just not her scene (which I can get, it’s got to be kind of overwhelming to spend 2 days on the receiving end of all that constant attention and need to be “on”)

Look at all the washed up scifi actors who just do cons as their jobs, I don't really blame them for not hopping off the gravy train when it's very low effort work and decent pay (with the fans paying like $400 for an awkward hug and photo it better be). It'll probably continue as long as people will pay to go to them.

They're rumoured to make $500,00/weekend at these cons. They will milk the fans dry.

They make sweet, easy money from cons. They'll ride this train for at least another 10 years, probably only reducing their appearances, so that when they do appear they'll be able to charge even more.
