I mean it's questionable, yeah, Aespa aren't even close to being as popular in the US and have little to no experience and no stage presence so it's a risky move.

Because it's for the 88rising stage, they are guests so they have like 15 minutes because there will be other artists, like CL/2NE1 and Jackson Wang who also performed for that stage, that's also the reason of why they are going in the 2nd week

I think there was an article in korean claiming Aespa was the K-pop group on the main stage at coachella and a lot of people were pointing out both Blackpink and 2ne1 were part of coachella stages before.
