Yeah, watching the Snydercut really shows how much Whedon fucked over Ray Fisher. The other commenter was right that he is the heart of the Snydercut Justice League and his character actually has a fleshed out backstory and they take the time to explain his powers.

That makes sense, considering he didn’t get a stand-alone movie beforehand to tell us who he was. I thought the first version’s explanation of his origin and powers was uninspired and lame. Now I’m actually excited lol never thought I’d turn into a #SynderCut nerd but I can already feel it coming.

The Snyder cut was supposed to be a mini-series, but couldn't due to contract... so, as a compromise, it's divided into 6/7 chapters, in case it might seem too daunting.
