I thought his set was pretty good but so many of his songs sound like Snow Patrol or Two Door Cinema Club rejects. A bit too bland for me but I do bop to them. I can see how he stood out and clearly has the best career out of One Direction.

it's funny how relatively staid his music is compared to the image/wardrobe he's cultivating. like maybe Watermelon Sugar is the only kind of out there song that's been a hit for him? I remember when "Lights Up" dropped it did feel like a big image shift but that song didn't really go anywhere I guess lol
