Elisabeth Moss reveals she was originally supposed to star in "The Power of the Dog" in Kirsten Dunst's role. She says she discussed the role with director Jane Campion for a couple of years. Due to "unforeseen circumstances" she had to pass on the role. She says she wishes to work with the director in the future, and she is glad the role went to Kirsten Dunst.

Kaley Cuoco was asked in an interview about what role she really wanted but didn't get. She disclosed it was for a role in the upcoming Knives Out 2, she said she did chemistry tests and multiple zoom auditions and really felt like the role was hers, she was "ready to pack her bags for Greece." The role ultimately went to Kate Hudson. Kaley says she felt down on her luck and that nobody wanted to cast her in anything, but then she quickly was cast in her upcoming project "Meet Cute" and realized if she had gotten the knives out role she woudn't have been able to film "Meet Cute" and she realized you always end up where you're supposed to be.
