-It is that time of year again where we talk about actors that auditioned for big roles, were close to getting them but just weren't the right fit.
-Some of the roles listed:
1. Katherine Heigl - Auditioned for Jen Lindley on Dawsons Creek. Everyone thought she was amazing but ultimately to young.
2. Keke Palmer - Auditioned for Iris West on The Flash. Like Heigl, she was felt to young for the role opposite Grant Gustin. There is a 4 year difference between Kiki & Grant as opposed to 1 year difference with Candice Patton/Grant.
3. Helen Hunt and Ashley Judd - Both were approached to play the lead in The Good Wife. Neither were interested.
4. Ashlee Simpson and Ashley Tisdale - TheCW likes to keep things in family and they were prepared to as the network wanted Ashlee Simpson for the role of Elena but it looks like she chose Melrose Place instead....just as Ashley Tisdale allegedly chose Hellcats over TVD.
5. Rob Lowe - Originally approached to play the one and only McDreamy on Greys Anatomy. He turned it down. His agents also passed on Nip/Tuck for him without consulting him.
