Marc Cherry's first two choices for Susan were Mary Louise Parker and Calista Flockhart!

I don't really care for Teri Hatcher, but she was great as Susan

I used to watch Ally McBeal and enjoyed it but I feel like Calista has a coldness that wouldn't suit Susan.

What they did to Katherine in S6+ is so unforgivable. Totally ruined such a good character and counter to Bree.
