I have a friend like this. I have to talk her into even buying basic shit like lotion. She grew up super poor though and was forced to work since she was a kid (which caused her health problems).

I literally saw her making herself sick because she wasn’t eating fruits and vegetables. She bought a car and I was like that looks like a nice purchase. Turns out it had a bunch of parts missing…probably why it was so cheap. I was like girl..
