10% of French people believe that Ukraine is run by Nazis, 22% think that Russia was acting out of security concerns, and 23% think that Russian-speaking Ukrainians would support Russia (which is a bit different from the first two, since it’s questioning the loyalty of Russian-speakers.) The opinions were highly correlated with being right-wing, antivaxx, and believing in conspiracy theories. And about 2/3 of French people support the ban on RT and Sputnik propaganda, which basically aligns with only the first two being pro-Russia takes.
