Why are we calling out women for something their partners did? Zoe is not responsible for Ezra being abusive, chances are she was abused herself?

And if Joshua Jackson cheated on Jodie, that's also not something to call out her for? And that stuff about the sorority, there's barely any information about this except for some tweets.

It’s be more accurate to say Zoe dated Ezra when he was underaged (that’s what Twitter said at least).

Yeah, that's a reason to call somebody out for, not over their partners being abusive towards other women bc it's more than likely they've been abused themselves.

About them dating, is that even true?

I googled it and while there's articles about how they supposedly dated in 2010 I haven't actually been able to find any pap pics or articles about it from 2010. There's 1 picture of them kissing at a party and then pictures of them holding hands at the premiere of their movie (EDIT: actually both the kiss and the hand holding happened on the same night, movie premiere) but considering they've always been ~artistic and ~alternative I'm not sure it's 100% proof they banged or were in a relationship. People are out here calling her a whole ass predator and I feel like that sort of accusation would merit a little more evidence than that? But then again she did say some stuff that could easily be misconstrued about Jaden Smith so idk.

I think it's to say she never condemned them, while she was quick to insert herself into that Chris/Will drama
And is still onf riendly term with several abusive assholes

she certainly isn't responsible for those men's actions
But I do think it's quite hypocritical to condemn one (will) while supporting the other (Alexander)
She wasn't asked about it, so like many others she could have just had some cake and move on

I do think it was a choice she made to insert herself in the discussion as to draw attention, and she susceded
I do not think she foresaw how that would expose her though (lusting after and dating teenager is just as criminal as physical assault)

Yeah, it's disappointing to see some of the stuff she has said and done (re: Jaden and Wang), and I think she absolutely deserves to be questioned about it, but the maniacal glee with which twitter went for her says a lot about them.

i mean you are the company you keep? this is odd, if she knew Alex Wang and the men she surrounds herself with had a history of abuse why engage with them? Nicki Minaj is righfully called out for marrying and associating herself with despicable men even though she isn't responsible for their actions. No one projects the narrative that she, too, must be abused. And in fact,i actually think it's a disservice to assume that every women who gets with abusers are abused themselves if they don't mention it or allude to it because it really underestimates how much men will hide and manipulate. Dita Von Teese and Elizabeth Chambers and the whole Shia Laboeuf situation are very good examples of how men will pick and choose who they will mistreat or that women often think that, well he won't do that to me because xyz. this is a weird take tbh.

ok but i'm sorry there is. Zoey Kravitz still actively supports Alexander Wang, has never even aknowledged the situation. She might not have the ressources to silence people like Nicki Minaj but Zoey's silence still has the same impact. I thought being silent was being complicit? she is not someone who needs to be defended if she actively participates in another form of violence that she is supposedly against especially if it's criminal behaviour. You are picking and choosing here and this is exactly why Zoey needs to be called out and face the reality that she is NO different than Will Smith.
