He climbed up on the cross of "comedy can say anything", forgetting that when one plays court jester ( which I've said again and again is the role comics play at these award shows, allowed to poke fun at the stars in the audience but only so far) one is at risk of displeasing and being punished for it. And I didn't forget how many ONTDers thought Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes was worthy of defense, even though he made fun of Robert Downey Jr's past substance abuse issues as well as other gross pot shots. There's a shit ton of hypocrisy all over these posts today.
