The main narrative of 300 is a skewed, propagandist tale told to inspire a small army heading into a suicide mission.

I feel like a lot of people missed the point of it and try to view it through today's world views/politics when it's ultimately not that deep.

Dismissing complaints about racism through a combination of "it's racist on purpose" and implying that the people complaining aren't smart enough to understand the movie is not a good look.
