Most of her pregnancy outfits are not realistic standards for pregnant women. Looser ligaments are one of many reasons high heels aren't great during a pregnancy. Not to mention perpetuating the idea of "You should only have a nice bump while pregnant and not blow up." 🙄

Befor getting pregnant I never realized how much bodytoxicity surrounds pregnancy. I was obviously aware of the pressure get back into shape immediately after delivery, but the idealisation of "belly only pregnancy" is RAMPANT on social media and mommy blogs.
Also - Rihanna is Rihanna and good for her for feeling herself, but you could not have payed me to wear heels, or anything other than leggings and loose shirts or dresses, from the second month forward :/

Did she show as much skin before she was pregnant? I can't tell if the style is tacky or it's just I'm not used to seeing a pregnant person dressing this way. I'm one month post partum and my body looked pretty great for being pregnant, but I still didn't like it.

I also had a very "skinny girl swallowed a basketball" type of pregnancy shape with my first child. And my baby was due in the peak of summer, so it was very hot when I was pregnant, but I, for some reason, felt like covering up.

I think Ri's outfit is just tacky here. But also, being that pregnant is probably not super comfortable, so as long as she is feeling herself?

She went through that era of covering up more for this one guy I think but after they broke up she was back to wearing these kind of outfits. I love them and what they’re doing to people, even if some of them are Not Good Outfits.

I only have one friend who has a kid, but I remember her feet were so swollen that she couldn't even fasten her sandals lol. I can't imagine wearing heels while pregnant!
