Yes and no - I was talking to a woman who's an academic and of pentecostal faith, and she talked about how she's critical of the gender stuff there. That emboldened me to throw this exact thought out there, that the Bible was written down by human men who might have specific goals in mind, and she shut me down by saying that no, it's God's word, God guided the writing process. So... It's hard to argue if that's the belief the other person is working with.
