I still have this issue! Did not like the things they wrote about Alexis Bledel. I also had no idea what Juicy Couture was so when Evan Rachel Wood’s response was, “Never heard of it” I felt better lol. I thought Alexa Vega and Brittany Snow’s outfits were inappropriate.

What did they write about Alexis?

They said that unlike all the other celebs they interviewed she slouched and mumbled and looked like she was about to cry tears of boredom. And that she should get a cat so they stare at each other in perfect communion.

I might have read too much into it but it seemed like they were taking a dig at her for being an introvert and not as social as everyone else.

i'm still mad at them for that! poor bb is just a huge introvert that was never for the fancy aspects of fame.

and rumors (from fanforum era) has it that she was "bullied" and belittled on set.

As an introvert that loved Alexis back then, I really hated this too. It hit too close to home lol.

That’s how I felt as well so it close to home for me too. They made it seem like being an introvert is some terrible thing.

This Vanity Fair article is the only one I remember specifically but I’ve read other ones where a celeb comes across as private or not particularly social and the interviewer paints them negatively. As an introvert, I find it annoying lol.

I still have this issue too! I should dig it out lol

This really was a great generation of stars...loved Amanda Bynes on What I Like About You, Alexis Bledel on Gilmore Girls, Raven Symone on That's So Raven, etc. I think the only one I wasn't too familiar with back in the day was Evan Rachel Wood.
