Going to see X tonight, hope it's good! Also wanna watch Deep Water, Master and Windfall at some point.

We went to see the Oscar Nominated Live Action shorts last night. I was kinda whelmed by the lot, and am honestly not sure what will win. I guess I liked The Dress and Take and Run the best, but they were all pretty heavy-handed, and none of them knocked me out stylistically, either.

We saw the Animated shorts already (Robin, Robin ftw!), so now my Oscar to-watch list looks like:

- Documentary shorts
- Parallel Mothers
- Writing With Fire
- Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom
and Four Good Days, if I want to be a true completionist (it is nominated for Best Song).

Of course I have to double check, but I am pretty sure that's all I have left!

Other recent watches include A Hard Day's Night (yes, again, lol, but in a theater with a bunch of other people laughing at all the funny bits, which was fantastic <3) and After Yang, which was okay, but not as good as I'd hoped.

So jealous you got to see A Hard Day's Night in a theater, that film is so much fun!

ive seen 4/5 documentary shorts and only audible is any good so i hope it wins. im missing when we were bullies, but if letterboxd is a good indicator that one is probably the worst of the bunch.

I'm nearing the finish line myself. This is what I have left: Drive My Car, The Worst Person in the World, Ascencion, Writing With Fire, Cyrano, The Hand of God, Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom and I guess Four Good Days, but I don't know if I want to put myself through that just for a credits performance.

I think I can wrap this up by Sunday night.

I had to come back to the this post because I just watched Writing with Fire and it's fantastic.

And Lunana was a really sweet little movie!

Trying to do Four Good Days now & Ascension later, and then I'll only have 3 left. I'm trying to save the 2 best for last (Worst Person & Drive)
