Zawe Ashton and Tom Hiddleston were friends or acquaintances first, worked together on Betrayal, and became a couple. After playing husband and wife on screen, Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton have become engaged to wed in real life. News broke after the BAFTA awards where Zawe wore her new engagement ring and another flowing gown.

She wears a different kind of clothing for her recent project. She’s working on a period drama called Mr Malcolm's List where she plays a character living in 1800s England called Julia Thistlewaite.
Zawe said: "I’ve got into period dramas late - everyone else is over them, but I only want to do them now. They are so freeing. I’m glad period dramas are diverse now - like Bridgerton, it’s great.”
Or maybe she did not have the chance to play significant roles in period dramas earlier because of the lack of diversity.
