While I was automatically listed in the @BNPPARIBASOPEN and @MiamiOpen draw I knew it would be unlikely I’d be able to travel. The CDC has confirmed that regulations won’t be changing so I won't be able to play in the US. Good luck to those playing in these great tournaments 👊

World NUMBER 2 Novak Djokovic has been forced to withdraw from the BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) and the Miami Open, two important tournaments on the ATP schedule, as he's not been allowed to enter the US due to his vaccination status.

It seems he was hoping until the last minute he'd be allowed entry. Indian Wells is already underway and the first round starts TOMORROW, and he was included in the draw.
