I really don’t get the “too soon” idea in regard to films like this. Art and entertainment have always reflected current events - Hollywood started churning out World War II movies on September 4, 1939.

Casablanca was filmed in the middle of the war; they had no idea what the outcome would be. I understand if people don’t want to watch something too “current”, but this has always been a thing
