AnnaLynne McCord Has a Message for Vladimir Putin

Feb 24, 2022 14:51

Do you remember AnnaLynne McCord from 90210? Nip/Tuck? No? Well, the actress-turned "human rights activist" recently tweeted one of the strangest and arguably most inappropriate spoken word poems of all time to none other than Vladimir Putin... all in the wake of Russia invading Ukraine.

I feel so lost. I am trying to educate myself on the situation but I made the mistake of listening to Hasan Piker who was convinced Putin wouldn't strike, and while he's admitted he was wrong, I feel like I missed out on what we really happening. Like I get the basics but I feel like I am missing some major info. This just seems so wildly dumb of Putin.

Also, not watching this. But wish this girl the best. She has severe trauma and DID, I'm not gonna pile on.

I wonder if he’s losing it, he is getting up there in age. All the fillers gone to his brain.

He has 100% lost it. A lot of Russian posters on Reddit are talking about how they are horrified and how it’s clear Putin is crazy and they are in shock and against what’s happening. Putin has nothing to lose at this point so he doesn’t care but he’s been talking about restoring pro Soviet fall Russia. It’s just people didn’t think he was serious and would do it.

Yeah, I think that VAST majority of Russian people do not support this.

But Putin doesn't give a shit because he's created this story in his mind where he restores the glory of the Russian empire.

That is so freaking scary. I wonder if there’s dissent among his inner circle at all, or how those close to him are feeling. Easy to prop up a despot when things are going well, but that loyalty certainly won’t serve if it’s to a madman…

Why is he still like the leader? This is probably so stupid of me but does his reign ever end or

He signed a law that basically lets him stay in power until 2036 if I'm not mistaken.

SERIOUSLY? wow. i had to google when he started and i was so surprised he's been in power for so long. (yes, i am aware this is my privilege of being in a democracy.) he's gotta go.

He is a dictator and none of Russian elections have been real also he's been succesfully silencing and censoring the opposition because his people control all the media and brainwashing people. Everytime people have tried to protest him recently they get beaten, thrown in jail or get huge fines (sometimes all of the above). Also some people geniunely don't care as long as they have a roof

the world would be a far better place if we had a little age discrimination in public office lol
like no you can't be in charge of the world when you're 75 and senile, sorry?
and income caps?
like fuck, just give us a couple decades of letting 20-50 year olds who aren't multi-millionaires run the place.
and yeah, I know NOT ALL OLD PEOPLE but clearly old, white, men are getting us nowhere, let's try something else

The fact that they block younger participants but not older ones, the whole fucking system is so rigged in their favour.

Also the economic barrier? Like even just to run locally. I was debating making a city council run and like the costs that would have been required to even just HAVE a presence in the election were far beyond my means. Either you're already rich, or you're well connected to people with deep pockets to fund you.

However, my city did do a initiative where they paid for EVERY candidate across the board to get one video done at no cost, like a little three minute here's who I am, here's what I'll do. Professional shot and edited. Which good to see? Doesn't make up for the fact the man who won mayor sunk like 20K into his campaign when others only could raise a few hundred but it was a nice thing to be offered I guess.

Yikes, and I'm sure that having a US president who validated him for 4 years didn't help. World leaders need to get together and just take him out of power.

This tracks 100% and I'm terrified of what lengths this unhinged loser will go to just to reassemble the Soviet Union.
