Nicki Minaj goes on another vaccine rant

Feb 18, 2022 17:06

Philadelphia’s public health account is posting Nicki Minaj tweets for engagement. They are attempting to shame ppl for advising others to PRAY, be COMFORTABLE & NOT BE BULLIED. I’ve never seen a vaccine trigger this amount of shaming & fear tactics have you? #DoWeHaveAProblemhttps://t.co/Q7P2xiorUX

I’m so sorry for your loss, I think people saying they’re not going to get it because of her are just trolls, or people who were so ignorant there was no helping them regardless

This! They were never getting the vaccine.

Everyone who is still unvaxxed at this point has made the decision.

And it usually takes someone they love dying to change their mind.

And sadly bc of the sunk cost fallacy a lot of them won’t even then, because then their loved one died for nothing

I lost my aunt to COVID, so I totally get it. (And my dad indirectly as well. He didn't have COVID, but he couldn't get to a hospital because they were overrun with patients and he had chronic issues.) I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

I am similar. My partner's mother who was more a mother to me than my own mum didn't go to the hospital soon enough because she didn't want to add to their stress and thought she was fine to fight her illness at home.

That's also why it extra annoys me when people act like they are hard done by missing things etc. I wish all this pandemic did was make me miss out on a few life events.

I'm sorry, I lost my grandfather last year to covid. The day before he was eligible for the vaccine too, which makes it that much more offensive.

When I “like” react it is an offer of love and support react. The russians do not understand emojis.

Im so sorry for your loss. A person close to me lost their brother less than a week before vaccination was made available for his age range.

I’ve been fortunate enough that nobody in my close circle has died from it (so far, I pray that continues) but I always think of my friend who’s an Indian immigrant. When the crisis really started to crunch there, it got to the stage where every day she was getting multiple calls from home about loved ones passing, to the point where she just stopped being able to individually mourn them. All became just a big blur of grief and her brain going numb to individuals because it couldn’t keep processing more death

Fuck her for convincing people to squander the chance to save themselves and others.

I can't stand people like her that talk out of their ass, they're rich so they dont even have to care for their sick relatives, my mom got it in 2020 and it was the worst 2 weeks of my life, but she's alive and vaccinated.

I mean, if it could just affect her and her husband and their ilk, I'd be okay with it.
