Kate McKinnon has joined the cast of the new film BARBIE starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken. America Ferrara and Simu Liu are also in the project that has Greta Gerwig directing a script written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.
It is unknown who McKinnon will be playing because plot details are being kept under wraps. Given Gerwig’s track record, one can expect this won’t be a typical take on the doll’s story.
