Adele Explains What Happened to Vegas Residency
adele was on the graham norton show a few days ago where she said she wants another child, refused to comment on whether she's engaged or not, promised to disappear on us again soon <3 and tried to explain what happened in vegas:
"i tried my hardest, i really thought i would be able to pull something else together in time. and that's why it was so last minute. which i regret obviously, that i kept going with it until that late in the day. it just WASN'T READY. and there were lots of different reasons: delays with pieces of the show, there were some things that wouldn't be arriving until the day of the show, so therefore i would never be able to see them or approve them. our manpower was down because im doing all that testing for my crew. and our carpeteners who were there to change and fix things, we had hardly any able to come to work. and it just would've been a really half assed show and i just can't do that. people will see STRAIGHT THROUGH ME, up on stage, being like "she doesn't wanna be doing this" and i've never done anything like that in my life and i'm not gonna start now. obviously gutted. but we are working our asses off, literally 24 hours a day. i don't wanna announce a new set of dates until i KNOW that everything is definitely ready cause COULD YOU IMAGINE?"
