This along with several states repealing mask mandates are just setting us up for an even bigger surge and an even worse variant.

Louisiana/New Orleans is keeping most mandates in place out of desperation to keep Mardi Gras rolling. There'll be another spike in hospitalizations and deaths so hope all those crooked politicians enjoy those tourism dollars before they get long covid or whatever. My ass isn't going anywhere near anything Mardi Gras related except maybe coming in close proximity to a king cake.
