Stevie Nicks Says Bret Michaels Gave Her Back Her Laughter
Click to viewStevie Nicks almost lost her laughter...until Bret Michaels gave it back to her! She teamed up with him to write the song "Love's A Hard Game to Play" for her album TimeSpace, they had dinner on the Sunset Strip, and became lifelong friends.
They both insist that it was always platonic, even though there was sexual tension. Bret said:
“I say this with all respect - beautiful woman all the way around, but there was no ‘rock of love... It was good, though. There was tension. You know what I mean?”
Stevie said:
“I hope he will remain my friend for a long time, because finding someone like him seldom happens in one’s lifetime. … He has brought something back to me that I thought I had lost … my laughter.”
Wow, imagine someone as selfless and talented as Bret giving someone back their laughter. Maybe he did it by showing her his bald spot, or by playing peek-a-boo with his bandana.
