I noticed that all these anti maskers are the first ones to go flying off the handle when they see a masked person. As opposed to the masked person yelling at a non masked person for being a public health menace.

NY is lifting the mask mandate, guess we’ll see how that goes.

That's what I've noticed, too. These assholes entitlement is ridiculous- if the mask does nothing, it's not hurting people.

Exactly. It’s almost like they are using anger to cover up some kind of guilt or embarrassment because on some level they know a mask is not a big deal.

It used to make me mad to see unmasked people, but then I realized they are just selfish, and me being mad about it wasn’t going to change that.

yeah it's funny, I live in a city that has generally been VERY mask compliant but when I ride the bus there are often tons of maskless riders - and generally people don't really say anything to them, probably because they know it's not worth it. the bus driver will sometimes remind them but usually that's it. the few times I've seen outbursts, it's been someone without a mask coming on and picking a random masked passenger to start ridiculing and it gets INTENSE. one time we all had to sit and wait for the police because a guy was flipping out so bad and threatening people

That’s so scary. When did it become acceptable to behavior that way? It seems like everyday there is a new video of someone being violent or needing to be physically restrained because they can’t control their anger on a bus/plane/public space.

I understand this has been stressful for everyone, and everyone has had different levels of being able to adjust. I know I’ve had my moments of frustration, but I can’t imagine screaming at the grocery store cashier or punching a flight attendant just trying to do their job. I can see/feel the PTSD with store workers when I’m out and about. A couple weeks ago there was some weirdness going on with the register, and the cashier apologized about ten times to me when she had to call for help. I felt so bad for her because I tell she was scared that I was going to start yelling at her.

They want a reaction so bad so they can turn it around to persecution for daring to be unmasked. It's just so weird.
