It was. Probably the worst movie I saw within the past year, and I watched Moonfall.

It’s kind of unfair to take this scene out of context. The film isn’t a straight biopic. It’s a fever dream that taps into melodrama and even a little bit of horror. She actually gives an outstanding performance for the tone and intention of the film. They way she hits the fine line at just before camp, the rest of the film does actually, really speaks to her skill. I’m not even a general fan of hers, but facts are facts.
