I loved it so much the first 2 seasons and curiosity watched the last. But I realized I don't like her. I love the other characters. Anyone else like that?

I feel the same way. She was definitely a flawed protagonist from the start, but her actions throughout Season 3 made her really unlikable.

I was so pissed at her in S3!

I feel this too. I don't know if Midge being an insufferable, privileged white woman is intentional by the writers or if it's something they're genuinely not aware of, but I'm getting close to not liking her either.

Of course it's intentional.
The whole point is to show her going from being whay seemed to be the ideal version of late 50s womanhood into an individual with her vision of self. That ideal woman was an upper middle class housewife devoted to husband, kids, and family and consumerism. Midge is supposed to be privileged and clueless but not incapable of becoming a better person.

Exactly! She’s fucking things up at every turn, and facing consequences finally. She’s done so many things wrong, but she lived in a sheltered bubble and is finally learning what happens in the real world.

It's kind of silly to equate "50s womanhood" to Amy Sherman-Palladino's self-indulgent, white woman writing where everything is fantastical and every problem somehow works itself out for the lead character, despite said character thinking the world revolves around her. We can say that Midge's ignorance of her privilege is intentional, but after 3 seasons, it grates on you. Especially after the bullshit she pulled with Shy Baldwin and then standing there all confused like she didn't deserve what happened.

*shrug*
It is what it is.
I know what the Palladinos do and I don't expect better from them. I consider the show to be higher budget bullshit and it is. It's like we all choose some pretty shitfest devoted to privileged White woman cluelessness to indulge in, e.g. Outlander, Emily in Paris, and Just Like Thay, etc., and Mrs. Maisel is the one I chose to hold my nose and indulge in.

I think the Shy Baldwin storyline was absolutely meant to tear down Midge’s privileged white woman self-absorption and force her to experience the consequences of her thoughtlessness. The ending of season three was definitely not a win for her.

Oh, definitely! And I was kind of relieved that she finally faced a large, albeit heartbreaking consequence. I love Midge, but she really deserved a kick in the butt for a long time lol

I just keep on mind that she's heavily based on Joan Rivers. Who, in the 60s, was a messssssssss. Like, Mrs. Maisel is a way toned down version.

Man, so that would make 2 shows now about a fictionalized version of Joan Rivers? This one + Hacks?

Basically.
This is 60s starting out Rivers. Hacks is late in life fading Rivers.

Yeah I rewatched it recently and Midge sucks. She's so self-absorbed and gets away with murder because she's thin and hot.
