Were they expecting Billie Eilish to win cause yeah she had good reviews for her album but she didn't have the YEAR that Olivia had.

Nobody. Olivia started the year off as a Disney Channel girl and ended it as a pop star and critical darling. She helped cement pop-punk’s revival, too. Other women in the industry had great years, too, but I wouldn’t say that they left a similar impact. It’ll be interesting to see what she does next.

BTS fans especially are always threatened by her success.

They also were very “offended” by Billboard mentioning she is the first Asian woman to get this award, because any mention of Olivia being Asian gives them a heart attack. They sound like only BTS can be Asian.
