Rudy Giuliani was last week unmasked as an exiting costumed contestant in the taping of the first episode of the seventh season of The Masked Singer. Deadline hears that as soon as they saw Giuliani, judges Ken Jeong & Robin Thicke quickly left the stage in protest. Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained onstage. They bantered with Giuliani (as the judges do with eliminated contestants). Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke eventually returned.
The theme of the new season is The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly.
The show also generated some controversy when Sarah Palin was unmasked on the show in season 3. She rapped Baby Got Back.
