Girl, I like you, but your character in Spider-Man was more about how your breasts looked in wet clothing than any actual character development. (Not her fault at all. But she was certainly cast because she was pretty.) She’s still talented. And I respect her choices. But being pretty helped her success.

I have a very supportive partner who assured me on multiple occasions that he was wildly attracted to me and wanted to make very certain that I was not doing it for his benefit solely because he loved me as I was. I never felt pressure from him at all.
That said, it was definitely a good move for me. I am so much more confident in my body, and I cried the first time I put a pair of boyshort underwear on, since I've never been able to wear them before due to all the extra skin.

(I did have a flat stomach in my youth. I even had visible abs. Sigh. Not so much now.) Ive been losing weight since I’ve been on ADHD meds and it’s totally curbed the thing I did where I snacked obsessively to help me try to get enough dopamine to focus. I’m just worried as I get smaller it’s all going to be skin and pancake boobs. And my spouse is similar about not caring if I alter my body. I just want to think there’s a chance I can have a fit looking body again.

So, I actually had the procedure performed the week after I left a job, and I had a month before the new job started.
Tbh, healing was ROUGH. I definitely couldn’t have gone back to work the first two weeks. Maaaaybe by week three, but it would have needed to be real easy, low impact stuff. With my surgery, I was told I wasn’t even supposed to drive for 6-8 weeks (I did have to compromise on that and start driving at four weeks because I needed to get to work). I’m about seven weeks out now, and I work a job that is mostly desk-bound, but I still have limitations on what I can pick up.
If you have a job where you can work from home, you may be feeling up to working at some point in the second week, but I’d plan on at least two weeks off (and light duty for another four or so weeks).
