This sounds like some kind of crap he’s only spewing so we’ll “have some empathy” for him because his whole persona as a “woke” “ally” was revealed as bullshit and he’s really someone who doesn’t listen when a woman says no.

Also, the idea that empathy is something people are owed and that each of us must give in all circumstances is very troubling to me.

idk, it just wasn't fresh. i feel like his energy used to be the best part of his stand-up and he's scaled that way back. he's also fallen into the comedian trap where he used to be funny when he was an outsider to celeb culture/felt relatable and he doesn't anymore so it doesn't work.
also tbf i thought his bit about aaron rodgers was the funniest part. the majority of it wasn't that much "have empathy". it was mostly like "imagine the quarterback of your high school football team coming to their own conclusion about science... he plays a sport where he gets hit in the head every day, did you expect him to be Fauci?"
