They kinda did, didn't they? He was known as a wife guy and a funny old-timey dude trapped in a young man's body (his role on Difficult People parodied that and it was actually really funny ngl) and she was basically a hot Cool Girl, at least according to some. I feel like his rep has been totally blown up and hers has been 1,000% confirmed 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think am so out of the loop on pop culture. You are probably completely right.
I just feel like I don't know what the general public talk about anymore since I no longer hear secondhand conversations as much. I should bring it up to my friends and see what the general tone is. I just have to be ready to explain the whole situation if/when they have no clue, haha.

This was a fun scandal to watch for the rest of us. A few over-onvolved online nutcases think this was a big deal but people got over Jolie and Pitt, which was far more scandalous and well known to the public.
