Degrassi goes there but there’s an underlying wholesomeness and positivity to it all. Plus the teens are played by real teens (and they’d BETTER still be HBO)

degrassi did dark subject matter with a lesson attached and in an after school special kind of way, while euphoria is more just doing dark shit to entertain and be ~real while also not be relatable to half its audience. degrassi is something a parent would approve of their kid watching while euphoria, not so much (if they were well informed)
