Gemma Chan and Richard Madden are both beautiful and I know they can act. But in this movie (and as romantic leads) they somehow had negative chemistry.

I was far more interested in all the supporting characters but idk if it's just because Sersei and Ikaris were so boring.

I saw it in the theatre and I haven't rewatched it yet, but I have almost no desire to. It was shot wonderfully and looks pretty but it fell flat.

My mum thought Richard Madden was Sebastian Stan the entire time and at the end asked why Bucky was Scottish and had laser eyes.

i can't believe they gave those boringly beautiful robots the first mcu sex scene. it wasn't remotely sexy

There was audible confusion in the cinema at that scene. It felt really unnecessary; we could figure out they were in love without it through context.

It also felt SO long but idk if it was just because it was so awkward.

That’s funny to me because she played a robot in Humans! LOL Ikarus should have pictured Froy when he was with Sersei for better chemistry!

With the exception of Angelina, Salma, Makkari and Sprite it sounded like they recorded a table read, it was like everyone forgot how to act

LOL I was telling my friend how it's a pity that Richard Madden has the charisma of a cardboard box, because he's so pretty to look at.

Granted, he looks like Seb Stan but Seb Stan comes across as so much more charming.

Yeah, I rewatched hoping I would change my mind about it. But nope, still boring, bad chemistry, miscasting….and I really don’t understand why Angelina Jolie had that accent - it was awful. Lovely cast though for the most part, lol.
