If you haven't seen Peaky Blinders then you are missing out. Best British TV show in a long long time.

the quality of the seasons is pretty varied imo (i think s1 is the best and s3 the worst). and they're also pretty redundant, so if you watch a couple of eps you'll be able to tell quickly if it's for you or not.

I think it was halfway through season 3 I stopped watching but I keep intending to try again.

Season 1 messed me up, it was so good

The rest never compares but the mood is still there. Plus Cillian is gorgeous

S1 is great, quality varies from there - imo it goes pretty steadily downhill with a few bright spots. But it's still watchable.

The first season was really good, gripping, sexy, etc. The second felt a little wobbly. And then it turned into a self-parody which is still fun at times.

The reason why only Season One feels fresh is that the only thing that changes from Season One to the rest is that Season One anti-Downton Abbey while the rest devolves into "if everyone in Downton Abbey was in the mafia". Aside from that it's the basic plot every season.

It's so predictable and shallowly written that if you see a female character pop up who has more than two lines and is not related to Cillian Murphy's character by blood or marriage, she will be having sex with CM's character later on.
