I haven't watched any of this season yet bc I like to binge them all at once (I'm impatient like that) and bc it's the last season 😥

I love that Wes has a YT podcast where they go over the eps and can't wait to listen to it!

Ty and That Guy is great - they do a podcast for every ep of the series (kind of suspended while these 6 eps are on but I hope they finish it out.)

I love these characters so much and obviously don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say I am trying to enjoy the ride.

Awww thanks. I didn't actually see the new episode yet, I watch with my mom, but wasn't gonna deprive people of a discussion post.

The pacing for this season is a bit too leisurely, given that it's only 6 episodes, I really hope they can wrap it all up in 2 episodes.

I agree - it seems like they are maybe going to sort of kind of tie up a few current storylines just sort of leaving everything at this point in time. That is pire speculation and ep 4 has about the same pace as ep 3.

Leisurely is a good word - like they're just strolling along. Lol 🤣

I don't think you can wrap everything up without books 7-9, I definitely think they can wrap up book 6, they're just cutting a lot and stalling.

I thought the pace would be more like the latter half of S3 when they did book 3 in 6-7 episodes and I thought it was a bit rushed but a good pace. Here it feels like they're saving everything for the last 1-2 episodes.

I'm surprised they're even showing Duarte given we don't know if we'll get to see 7-9 on screen, but also not, since he appeared in Strange Dogs. Technically he even appeared in book 5, so you could have been introduced to him even more casually in S5 lol.

I really hope the ending of the show delivers on this snail pace and it doesn't disappoint. At least the ending of the books didn't disappoint me, so I always have that.

I have been pretty disappointed with this season so far. I can’t believe we only have 2 episodes left, and it feels like hardly anything happened this episode to really move things forward.

I don't mind the character moments but yeah, the pace for this season has been really off. In 10 episodes it would have been fine, but it really doesn't work in 6.

Yes, if we were getting 8-10 episodes, I probably would have enjoyed this one.
