Kim Kardashian decided to erase any and all goodwill she had fostered by finally passing the baby bar after 3 years, and do an interview with Bari Weiss, Queen of Self-Victimization. It's... exactly what you would expect.
Highlights:
*She spends more time talking about how proud of herself she is for passing the baby bar than she does talking about actual criminal justice reform
*Actually, she doesn't talk about any structural efforts to reform the criminal justice system at all. She really just takes credit for freeing Alice Johnson from prison and mentions that she believes in rehabilitation and second chances
*She doesn't care about any criticism she received for working with Trump, and says he did the right thing by freeing Ms. Johnson
*She thinks cancel culture "is the most ridiculous thing" and unironically claims: "I always own up to the mistakes that I make and I try not to make them again."
*She believes in free speech and therefore commends Kanye for wearing a MAGA hat on SNL (OP note: I see she hasn't yet reached the part in her "law school journey" where she learns that the First Amendment only prohibits the government from intervening in free speech)
*When asked when she first understood she was beautiful, she replied "Well, thank you for saying that I'm beautiful. We grew up in Beverly Hills and everyone was Jewish and I never really saw people that really looked like my family." ...whatever that means
*She dodges a question on social media and her responsibility to young girls and women regarding body image
*And now, for OP's personal favorite exchange:
BW: Are you a feminist?
KK: I don’t really like titles. I believe in fighting for women 100%, but I just also believe in fighting for what’s right.
BW: Speaking of titles, are you a Democrat?
KK: I believe in the rights that the Democrats want, but I believe in the taxes that the Republicans want. I’m a mix of both.
BW: Will you ever run for public office?
KK: As of right now, no. I understand the responsibility, and it’s an extremely hard job, and I don't know if I’d ever want that.
BW: If you do, can I apply to be your campaign manager?
KK: Absolutely. I would love that.

Source ONTD, is Kim K really this out of touch, or did OP just play right into her hand by giving her the attention she wants? Or both?
