I don’t get it. Even if the people helping him out are violent, racist, etc themselves… why HIM?

It’s not like he’s a good actor or likable. He’s just a has-been who SHOULD fuck off somewhere to be never heard of again.

I wanna say men in general because my dad is an Indian man who STILL watches Mel Gibson movies and enjoys him as an actor because he can ~separate the artist from the person~ fucking eyeroll

You’re right, but I also don’t see anyone praising him (unlike, for example, Johnny Depp). No one ever brings up Gibson.
