On an emotional level, they're a bit sad and one of them did shock me. On a grossness level, they're not bad imo but I watch a lot of horror. I wouldn't call any of it gratuitous, I don't remember any lingering camera shots and there's not excessive blood or gore or anything. Here's everything I remember: [Spoiler (click to open)]there's a rabbit that Kirsten Dunst plays with and pets at one point that her son caught, then in the next scene he has the rabbit cut open on his desk and is drawing the insides for an irl study of anatomy, he's studying to be a surgeon (this one shocked me tbh). Another scene, he and Cumberbatch are out in a field and there's another rabbit whose leg is broken. Cumberbatch tells the son to put the rabbit out of his misery, and you hear his neck snap. Finally, there's a scene where a calf has died, you see that an animal has been at the calf already so there's a bit of blood and general insides showing but not much, and you see the son cutting the hide off of it. (spoiler is detailed so you know exactly what to expect, but I didn't give away anything of the plot that was unnecessary so it should be safe to click unless you want to know absolutely nothing)

I hope this helps!

Oh I forgot that one! I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking at and I think I was distracted at the time lol.

Oh that isn’t as bad as I feared, thank you! I was scared it was animal brutality or torture but this seems “milder” at least. I’ll watch this!
