For better or for worse, TikTok continues to be a driving force in creating a "viral hit" in music. Brought to you by the way of Florida, a peninsula (not an island), Flyysoulja and Kodiyakredd (born Frank and Alex Venegas) are most famous for their hot-tub freestyle dubbed "Island Boy." After weeks of social media attention (and laughter), including celebrities such as Cardi B, who memed the song, the boys dropped an official studio version of the hit "freestyle" on Thanksgiving. The duo were also invited to Miami nightclub LIV to perform their "viral hit" song, but they were booed as they struggled on stage. :(
Don't cry for them Argentina tho. These two are terrible people with a long criminal history. Plus they're making their money anyways, even if people are laughing AT them not WITH them. These Island Boys remain unfazed.
