We often talk about one-hit wonders in music but there are acting one-hit wonders too! For the purposes of this post, these are actors who only had commercial success with one (main) role.

They really played themselves. With no Bowie bulge to give us the vapors we were able to notice the ridiculous movie happening around it

Agree, they've all done fine. Schwimmer has probably been the least commercially successful. He was in Band of Brothers and while he wasn't a main role I feel like his role was significant in ways.

Schwimmer has Madagascar, which arguably has more cultural impact than anything Perry has been in 😆 (probably bigger box office now that I think about it)

Doesn't Schwimmer also have Madagascar or does that not count since it was voice acting.

That being said, the giraffe was overshadowed by most of the other characters.

I would say Marty is a central character esp since he has the romance w Gloria, but all of them were eclipsed by the lemurs

Literally all of them had the careers they wanted. They’ve all been in multiple shows, some longer than others.

Schwimmer has been behind the scenes for most of the last 20 years.

If we aren’t counting Jumper and Shattered Glass for Hayden I REFUSE to give credit for Episodes!! Schwimmer does seem nice.
