I find this especially weird of Kristen Stewart fans because she said she doesn't even care about the Oscar. I feel like those stans have always actively denied what's happening in her life/what she wants at any given time.

Stans always defend their fav, even if the person doesn't care about the subject but I don't think Kristen doesn't care about the Oscar, she wouldn't agree to all the campaigning if she truly didn't care.

yeah, i know it's not that she doesn't care at all and will def still show up/accept the award if she wins, but she gave an interview the other day where she was like "i don't give a shit about the awards buzz...obviously it's nice and i'm glad people are connecting with the movie, but the oscars are so weird because there's so many amazing performances that never get seen/nominated, so what does it really mean" which i recognize isn't her saying she doesn't want it, you'd just think stans would take their idols cue and maybe be like, this isn't the most important thing in the world to do insane stuff about

but also these are probably the same stans who are convinced she's secretly still with rpattz

Variety published a tweet the other day with that as the quote but the actual article at the source wrote that she said it sarcastically. during the same interview she said she was excited about it because it was the first time she or a film she’s in was getting this reception. idk she clearly cares a lot
