JoJo, Suni, and Amanda all did great in their contemporary numbers. I think Suni would have benefited from better choreography though.

I have had a soft spot for Artem since he was on SYTYCD, but his choreography for Melora's contemporary was not good at all. She was capable of giving an amazing performance and she got handed a very mediocre routine.

I don't know why they bothered to say that Iman had jazz. Let's just be honest and give assign contemporary to everyone.

Cody's Argentine tango was awful. As usual his feet were sloppy but the lack of precision is so much more noticable in a dance like Argentine tango with all the flicks. That was pretty terrible, and it just makes me even angrier that we're stuck with him in the finale instead of Melora or Suni.

I'm also tired of the overscoring. Just because it's the semi final doesn't mean that everyone deserves a 10. There were 12 dances x 4 judges tonight and out of 48 scores, they awarded two 8s (for Cody's salsa redemption and Melora's rumba redemption), and everything else was 9s and 10s. They handed out 22 10s tonight which is ridiculous.

Overscoring bothers me so much. If they scored better it would help the unpopular good dancers. Who I tend to really like.

Cody is to me one of the worst dancers this season. I can't believe he has gotten this far over performers like The Miz, Melora and even Kenya who continued to improve every week.
