On November 11, Brass Against frontwoman Sophia Urista called a fan onto the stage, had him lie down, then uh, [Spoiler]urinated on him as the band played a cover of Rage Against the Machine's “Wake Up.”
“I gotta pee, and I can’t make it to the bathroom,” Urista told the crowd, according to the source. “So we might as well make a show out of it.”
A police report was filed, but not by the man who received the golden shower.
Another fan in attendance complained to police, she was then advised to file a police report and she did. It is illegal in Florida for “a person to expose his or her sexual organs in public or on the private premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner.”
An indecent exposure charge carries a maximum punishment of a year behind bars. A $1,000 fine is also a possibility.
Her band tweeted a message in regards to the disgusting act.
We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried away. That's not something the rest of us expected, and it's not something you'll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona. - Brass Against (@BrassAgainst) November 13, 2021
