Jeff Bezos offered to take Tom Hanks into outer space, but Tom turned him down. That's because he would have had to pay about $28 million for the experience.

He told Jimmy Kimmel:

"It costs like $28 million or something like that. And I'm doing good, Jimmy - I'm doing good - but I ain't paying $28 million."
