I don't doubt for a second that what they want us to believe happened at the end of Episode 4 didn't actually happen.

I'm so glad to see that they're moving back to Earth for a few episodes, but I'm really giving strong side eye to the pacing of Season 4 so far. It's too early to tell if they're just going to drop the Mars stuff for a bit, but I always liked the way that the earlier seasons focused on the team, but showed a decent amount of other (read: league) stuff.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that it's kind of stupid the way that they're portraying Mars as being MONTHS away from Earth without teleporting when there are characters like Superman, and especially the Lanterns, who can make that trip so damned easy? Or did Mars somehow get transported outside of the solar system and I just don't remember?

I'm marginally interested in seeing Lucy back, but obviously the thing I want to know the most about re: Supes and Lois is if they're going to make TV Jon bi like Comic Jon is.

Is YJ Superman able to fly in space without a whole suit? And Im going to assume that this Supes is more like STAS where he has to take a pod/space shift to other planets.

But yeah the GLs should be able to move around rather quickly so im going to assume that the Earth GLs were off planet during all of this.

I don't remember there being a lot of stuff in space. I know that, in comics, even when Supes can't breathe in space and has to have an air mask, he's still plenty fast. But it's possible that he's more limited in the YJ-verse. This would make sense, since Connor himself is pretty nerfed.

Even the ships that they use taking months just seems odd to me because... comic physics would just make me think they could travel faster.

Yeah the ships dont make sense to take so long. You'd think that they'd have created ones that can cut that time in half by now. Did they not study the martian ships at all.

supergirl was in decline when it moved to the cw but the STEEP drop-off it had in the last two seasons, no, over this last season ALONE...should be taught in film school. it has been abysmal. kara has shown almost no growth over the course of her show, gave up her career, and has no romantic life to speak of. i have no clue where they're ending her. not even an idea. i SKIP her scenes (i skip anything that isn't strictly dansen or nia/brainia at this point.) a disaster on all fronts.

oliver and barry would have never been treated like this (not that their writing is heaps better lol but still).

Yeah Oliver regressed every season but at least he showed an ounce of change. Kara's been stuck in stasis the entire series. She's no different in S6 than she is from S1. I swear the Arrowverse just has problems writing females in general.
